Watch: Vogue shoots fashion's most influential

To celebrate the publication's 120th anniversary, American Vogue have photographed the most influential people in fashion, music and film today.

As American Vogue celebrates its 120th anniversary with the publication of the September issue - their biggest ever - later this month, they've decided to document fashion's most influential players; from designers to actors, musicians to society darlings and models.

"Every era has its stylish faces, talents, and voices that profoundly influence the moment. Those featured on the Vogue 120 list bringing fashion to life right now - and for years to come," says the iconic publication.

The extensive list includes many a British name - Victoria Beckham, Adele, the Duchess of Cambridge, Jonathan Saunders, Cara Delevingne and Sienna Miller are just a few.

Accompanying the list is a portfolio of beautiful photographs shot by Norman Jean Roy featuring other figures who appear on the list such as Balenciaga creative director Nicolas Ghesqui�re with his currently-controversial muse Kristen Stewart; Stella McCartney, Sarah Burton and Christopher Kane in a magical forest with Karen Elson, Claudia Schiffer and Stella Tennant; and Raf Simons sitting amongst the flower-clad walls of his debut show. Florence Welch is also photographed atop a bucking black horse, sword in hand.
